lyrics

Human race

When I open my window
The sun is shining all the day
But I got the very strange feeling
Darkness is looming in front of me
Shipwrecked on a paradise island
I just wonder when I can sail away
Always looking for a better heaven
Cause everything is not enough for me

When I close up my eyes
I can’t stop resounding the words you said
“I always knew you, guy, got something special
But it’s just damn not good for me..”

Hard to find out my way
I got to find my place in this human race
For money, sex and drugs and fame

When the sun goes down beneath horizon
The truth is just dawning on me
It’s always at night that the vacuum of my life
Is brought to light by darkness ray

Hard to find out my way
I got to find my place in this human race
For money, sex and drugs and fame
Hard to find out my way

My way out of there
If only I could retrace my steps
I wish I were lying with you babe
On the beach where we first met
Under the wan light of the moon girl
You were shining like a sun
And when I opened my eyes
I could see you were not there...
